Les Équipements Daigle Inc. takes the protection of its customer’s personal information seriously.

Customer Records and Personal Information: Personal information that has been collected about you for the purposes set out in this notice is stored in a “customer record”.

Your file may include your name and company name, as well as your address, phone number, email address, ID, SIN, and financial information required for pre-authorized payments.

Les Équipements Daigle Inc. is authorized to collect, store, and use the personal information contained in your file, as well as to have personal information communicated by the third parties mentioned below, or to communicate them to those in its possession, for the following purposes:

  • identify you and ensure the accuracy of the information contained in your file.

  • comply with the requirements of laws and regulations; and
  • verify with another organization information you have already provided when required for the purposes set out in this notice.

Third Parties: Provided it is for the purposes stated in this notice, Les Équipements Daigle inc . may transmit personal information about you to agents responsible for delivering the services of our company. When Les Équipements Daigle Inc. communicates personal information to its service providers, it ensures that they are prohibited, by contract, from using this information for purposes other than those for which it is called upon them.

Les Équipements Daigle Inc. may disclose personal information about you to third parties if required to do so by law. For example, it may communicate information for tax purposes to the Canada Revenue Agency.

Right to consult and correct personal information: Except in certain circumstances, provided for in the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, you have the right, upon written request, to consult the personal information contained in your file.
